Framlingham Town Framlingham Town 3
Westerfield United 0

Half time: 2 - 0

Kick off: 15:00, Saturday, April 17 2010

Both sides still needed a few more points to guarantee their senior status for next season. After an even opening Fram struck twice in a minute. Firstly Townes expertly played in Vincent who beat the offside trap and rounded the keeper to score and then the Westerfield defence failed to deal with a hopeful punt upfield and Townes outjumped keeper Ray to head home. Wilson replied for the visitors with a powerful 20 yard volley which brought out a flying save from Warner. Back came Fram and Townes was denied by Ray with the ball falling to Vincent whose effort struck the bar. O'Donnell then headed Osborne's corner narrowly over for Westerfield.
The away side had more of the play in the second period and Warner saved from Phillips before producing a fine double stop to deny Solomon and Wilson. Westerfield suffered ill-fortune midway through the half when Grover felled Phillips as he bore down on goal yet the referee contented himself with only issuing a yellow card to the Fram defender. Wilson was working tirelessly up front for Westerfield support from Phillips once he switched to the left. However a goal would not come and Wake made the game safe for Fram with his 14th league goal of the season forcing home Chaplin's long throw on 85 minutes. Fram nearly grabbed a fourth on the final whistle but Ray made a fine stop from Matt Hudson
